Galvanize Action surveyed ideologically-moderate white women across the US to see how they were feeling about current events.

- An overwhelming majority (93%) of women in this sample say they’ve noticed increases in their cost of living.
- Over half of respondents (57%) say that they’ve noticed increases and are worried about their ability to make ends meet.

- The majority (64%) of respondents have an unfavorable opinion of President Trump, with nearly half (48%) saying their opinion is strongly unfavorable. When compared to findings from the same question asked in September and May, more women in this (different) sample report having an unfavorable view of Trump.
QUESTION #3
The week of Oct 6, 2025, President Trump deployed the National Guard to Chicago and Portland, citing violence and disruptions at federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities. State and local leaders have filed lawsuits arguing that the president is exceeding his authority. In this situation, which of the following comes closest to your view?

- Among surveyed women in our audience, a slight majority (55%) believe that the president acted outside his authority by sending the National Guard to Chicago and Portland.
- Just over half (51%) believe that, because of this, he should either be voted out (18%) or impeached (33%).
- Just 4% believe that acting outside his authority was justified, and 20% believe that the action was within his authority and no further limits are necessary.

- The majority (63%) of women surveyed oppose the president deploying the National Guard to cities, with a plurality (41%) saying they strongly oppose it.

- The vast majority (89%) of respondents report opposing political violence, with 68% saying it’s never acceptable no matter the circumstances, and 21% saying it’s generally unacceptable except for potential extreme situations.
- Only 8% said they were unsure.

Do you approve or disapprove of the way the Trump administration is handling information related to the government’s investigation into Jeffrey Epstein?

- A majority (64%) of women in our audience disapprove of the way the current administration is handling the Epstein files, with nearly half of respondents (46%) saying they strongly disapprove.
- However, some (21%) indicated that they do approve, and 15% said they haven’t heard of the situation, which tells us that there are women in our audience who are unaware of how the Trump administration has been handling the Epstein files.
