Galvanize Action surveyed ideologically-moderate white women across the US to see how they were feeling about current events.

Is your opinion of President Trump favorable or unfavorable?

  • A majority of women in this sample (57%) have an unfavorable opinion of President Trump. This is a five percentage point decrease compared to responses from a different sample of ideologically-moderate white women in May.  
  • A plurality (37%) have a strongly unfavorable opinion of President Trump.

Do you approve or disapprove of the way President Trump is handling crime?

  • While a plurality (36%) of women in this sample somewhat approve of President Trump’s handling of crime, women were roughly split between approval (49%) and disapproval (51%) overall.

  • Nearly all (93%) women in this sample are concerned about tariffs to some degree.

Which of the following comes closer to your views about childhood vaccines for measles, mumps, and rubella, even if neither is exactly right?

Healthy children should be required to be vaccinated in order to attend public schools because of the potential risk for others when children are not vaccinated70%

  • A majority (70%) of respondents think the MMR vaccine should be required.
